New pictures!
Finally! I was like a kid with my nose pressed up against the glass of my front door. I couldn’t wait to get the proofs from the printer of my new Blues Guitar Secrets books…
They look great!
I’m soooooo excited. Man, I put a LOT of work into creating these things. And it was NOT easy! I created all the musical diagrams using Final Guitar, which is THE notation program for guitar. I transcribed everything in the Blues Guitar Secrets videos AND the Jam Tracks CD.
Then I had to export all the images from Finale to a graphic design program. It was TON of work!
Anyway, here’s a picture of the three books that come with the course (pardon the bad picture, I was in a hurry!)…

The book on the left is called, “Mastering the Pentatonic and Blues Scales”. The one in the middle is the, “DVD Companion.” It gives you EVERYTING that I play in all four-hours of the video. The book on the right is called, “Complete, Step-By-Step Guide To The Jam Tracks CD!” It’s a note-for-note transcription all the jam tracks that we recorded in the studio.
There are 143 musical examples in these books…. I know because I painstakingly created each one by hand!
Anyway, I’m totally stoked…
Everyone’s been asking two BIG questions:
1) When is this thing going to be released?
Right now, I’m shooting for Tuesday, Dec 12. That will be the “big day” when the first edition copies become available for shipping. Note: this date could change. I’ll let you know if it does.
2) What’s it going to cost?
This is tough. I still don’t know. I didn’t want to “skimp” on this course. So, as you can see I had the books “saddle-stitched” rather than using a spriral coil. This is a more expensive option, but it looks better and the pages are less likely to get torn out. Also, I request opaque paper so there would be no bleed through on all the musical examples.
Anyway the short answer is… “I don’t know yet.”
There’s going to be 2 DVD’s with 4 hours of blues guitar instuction AND a Jam-Track CD AND the three course books you see above AND some other “bonuses” that I haven’t finished just yet. (Nice run-on sentence, eh?)
But I’ll let you know as soon as I do. I do know it’s going to be less than $200. There will definately be a “gold edition” and a “standard edition”. But I’m not sure of the pricing yet.
So, mark Dec 12 down on your calendar! There will be a limited number of first-edition courses available. So, if you’re planning on getting a copy this year, you’ll definately want to get in on the first day.
That’s all for now. I will definately be in touch soon.
Please don’t forget to leave your comments/questions below!
Cheers,
Dan Denley
